WHY SPONSOR?

The Dairy Capital Cheese Fest is the perfect opportunity to promote your business and increase brand awareness through product exposure and interactive face-to-face experiences with festival attendees. Be part of something big in Oxford County and allow the community to participate in a fun filled family event that centers around supporting local businesses.

As a sponsor, you will reach over 1000 attendees, including the local community, tourists, vendors and volunteers. As before, the 5th Annual Dairy Capital Cheese Fest will include a variety of participating vendors from cheese makers, artisans, chefs, craft brewers to wine makers and feature demonstrations and talks and, new this year, hands-on experiential learning opportunities.

This year, we are partnering with the Ingersoll Cheese and Agricultural Museum to create a more interactive and immersive event and we are seeking partners who are keen on supporting local small businesses, farmers and experiential learning and development.

The museum was first opened in 1977 when the replica 19th century cheese factory was constructed in Centennial Park. Since then, the site has expanded to include 7 buildings and more than 15,000 artifacts.

The museum was voted the Top Small Museum in Ontario; part of the "Ontario's Choice Awards" contest conducted by Attractions Ontario in 2016. In 2018 the museum was the recipient of the Ingersoll & District Chamber of Commerce Business Awards of Excellence, and in 2019 the museum was a winner of the Dorothy Duncan Public History Award from the Ontario Historical Society, for our efforts at commemorating the First World War.

While the museum started off with a specific focus on cheese, it has expanded to also become the community museum for the Town of Ingersoll and the home base of the Ingersoll Sports Hall of Fame. The Museum tell the story of cheese but there is a lot more to see and do.
